I was shocked, totally shocked when I went to make my canned applesauce this past fall and decided to use my Instant pot for my apples. It was so easy, I was in disbelief that I could make it so effortlessly. I had 10 pounds of apples I had picked at the orchard, peeled them and threw them in the pot. Added 2 cups of water, 1 cup of sugar and 4 tbsp of cinnamon. Set the pot on manual for 10 minutes and ta-da! It was done. Made my canning day go so fast I had all the cans in the water bath in an hour! Impressive!
